Satisfying woodworking therapy!

Spoon carving is a popular woodworking activity, unique because the majority of it can be done in the comfort of your home, noise-free.

While it's messy, shavings are easily cleaned up and the activity is relatively silent leaving you relaxed and enthralled by this tactile experience.

If you have Instagram, take a look at some spoon carving pages and become inspired by this beautiful art form.

For those looking to get into woodworking in general, spoon carving teaches you about the importance of grain direction so even if this is a one-off, you'll take away valuable knowledge you can apply to future projects.

These spoon carving sessions will teach you the basics of how to safely carve a spoon, you'll be using a pre-cut jelutong spoon blank. We can't wait to see you at this workshop.
