Craft this practical little pot plant stand which turns out absolutely stunning.

A perfect class for beginners, this project features two useful joinery techniques which can be used across loads of other woodworking projects you may want to tackle.

Please note, You'll need to supply your own suitable pot with you (no larger in diameter than 250mm and with a flat bottom. 

Your plant stand will be constructed from Tasmanian Oak which is a clean, modern-looking timber. Once we've applied a clear coat of oil this beauty will suit a wide range of home interiors.

Try your hand at:

  • Sanding surfaces by hand and with electric sander

  • Routing edge profiles

  • Drilling Pocket holes

  • Sawing & Chiselling a Half Lap Joint

  • Preparing for a finish

  • Applying an oil finish 

Tools you will use

  • Clamps & Workbench

  • Compound Mitre Saw

  • Random orbital sander

  • Palm or trim router

  • Cordless Drill

  • Pocket Hole Jig

  • Chisel & Saw

Things you need to know

  • Please bring some water to keep hydrated.

  • Please wear appropriate clothing (nothing loose fitting, including jewellery)

  • The Minimum attendance age for this class is 18 Years (Kids/Youth Version Coming Soon!)
