Please consider our booking terms prior to booking. Due to our small class sizes and the nature of what we do and the demand for places in our classes, we are unable to offer refunds for bookings if you change your mind or simply can no longer attend. If you are unable to attend your booked workshop with us, we'd recommend that you gift your booking to someone else who is able to attend. 

Should an event cancellation occur by us, you will be offered a credit, refund or re-booking.

Should you not be satisfied with a product you have purchased from us, we will do our best to remedy your experience. 

30 Day Returns

If you've bought the wrong one or changed your mind, we offer a 30 day return policy on goods unused, in original undamaged packaging, just pay the return freight to us or bring your purchase in store. Proof of purchase required.

Gift Cards are excluded from our 30 day returns policy, items purchased using gift cards however are no excluded.

Objectives/Background
Through our ‘Price Match Policy’, Adelaide School of Woodwork is committed to providing the lowest prices on our extensive range of products. This policy outlines how our store matches prices with competitors to provide you with the best value.
Should you find an identical stocked item for a lower price from a competitor, we will happily match the price, subject to the following terms and conditions.

Nature of Competitor
We will price match the identical lower-priced item, provided that the competitor:

  1. Is a registered Australian business, as it:
    1. has an Australian Business Number; and
    2. has been registered for Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) ; and
    3. has a physical retail store located in Australia
  2. Is not an unauthorised distributor that resells products that are ‘grey imports’. These are products acquired from internationally based distributors other than the manufacturer's locally licensed importer (i.e. Kogan, Dick Smith).
  3. Is not; Bunnings Warehouse
    as we do not price match with these competitors.

Product Specifications and Availability
The lower-priced product from the competitor must:

  1. be of the exact same model and description; and
  2. be available for immediate purchase; and
  3. be in stock at the competitor’s store, or on their website; and
  4. include relevant GST and delivery charges in its price; and
  5. be available for retail quantities only and not bulk buy or commercial quantities

Product Exclusions
Even if the lower-priced identically stocked item matches the conditions above, we will not price match on:

  1. Sale, clearance, refurbished, display stock items or items sold as part of a bundle offer
  2. Items that are part of a liquidation sale or limited stock offer
  3. Items offered by trade buyers, wholesalers, importers, warehouses, auctions and auction sites, duty-free, liquidation sales
    1. A lower-priced item that is the result of a:
    2. pricing error, mistake or misprint by the competitor
    3. cashback offer or voucher
  4. Items that fall below our cost price

Proof of Competitor’s Price

  1. Nature of Proof
    To be eligible for the policy, you must present proof of the competitor’s lower-priced item through any one of the following means:
    1. A photograph or screenshot of the competitor’s quote or advertised price
    2. Access to the product's live web page if the price was advertised online
    3. A copy or any other official document from the competitor confirming the price and specifications of the lower-priced item
    4. Product Verification
  2. We reserve the right to verify the lower-priced item's availability, price and specifications at the time of claiming by:
    1. Calling the competitor
    2. Visiting their website
    3. Or through any other means as we see fit

Honouring the Policy

  1. Location
    The policy will be honoured if, subject to the conditions above, you present proof of the lower-priced item physically in-store. or via:
  2. Timing
    The Price Match Policy will be honoured by Adelaide School of Woodwork:
    1. At the time of purchase; or

Further Considerations
The Price Match Policy cannot be used in conjunction with any other sale, deal or quote offered by Adelaide School of Woodwork.
Adelaide School of Woodwork reserves the right to terminate or amend the Price Match Policy at any time without notice.

Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Adelaide School of Woodwork. The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy. 

Processing your Order 

An email confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase. 

Shipment Processing Time

Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. After your payment is authorised and verified, all orders are processed within 3 business days providing all items are instock. We will contact you if, for some reason, there are any delays.

Shipment Locations Domestic Only 

Adelaide School of Woodwork does not ship internationally at this time. We ship domestic only - anywhere in Australia.

Shipping Restrictions

Our business does ship to both commercial and domestic addresses. 

Shipment rates and delivery estimates 

We endeavor to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed, an estimated delivery time will be provided to you. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order. 

Express Shipping 

We may offer an express shipping option depending on the contents of your order and the volume, we cannot guarantee delivery timeframes for express orders however we do prioritise the picking, packing and dispatching of express orders over orders with standard shipping.

Wording

Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. 

Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location,method of delivery, and the items ordered.Products may be delivered in separate shipments.When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery Date:

Transit Time

The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution hub and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

Weight factor

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simple add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed. 

Delays

Due to varying factors beyond our control, packages to and from our facility in Adelaide may be delayed. We appreciate your patience during this time. We will not be responsible for wrong shipping address if you provide incorrect information. 

In store Pickup

In-store pickup dates vary based on product availability. Permitting stock availability, your order will be picked and you will be notified via phone or email as soon as possible, please do not arrive at our store to collect your order until you have had a confirmation from us that your order is available for collection.

Tracking Options 

Adelaide School of Woodwork aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the shipment process. Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a link to track your package. All orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking.  If we use a carrier of your choice such as a direct courier etc, we cannot guarantee tracking and will not be responsible for the delivery of orders sent. 

Damages

If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au. 

Missing or Lost Package

There are several reasons why a package gets lost or becomes a delivery exception. We’ve found that, more often that not, the package is either in the building or with a neighbour. Adelaide School of Woodwork politely requests that customers look in common courier hiding spots. Please take a look around and let us know if you find it. If you haven't located your order, please contact us at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au to report missing or lost packages. or you may contact the freight carrier directly yourself. 


Some of our products carry a manufacturer's warranty, if you encounter a problem or fault with your product please contact us as it may fall under a manufacturing fault, which is generally covered by a warranty.
